Target Excellence's program After School Education Safety (ASES) focuses on helping kids with homework and provides group activities. Many of the children attending would be otherwise unsupervised. The program is free and the staff is both involved and genuinely interested in helping the children.

Homework Help and academic improvement – daily, organized, high expectations (60 minutes per day)
Health Awareness – Nutrition Conscious/Increase exercise minutes (30 minutes per day)
Empowered – All students participating in projects that help them gain 21st Century Employment skills
Develop Student Voice – engage students to reflect and make plans for the future
Utilizing Community Partners – At least 3 on each campus (no need to reinvent)
Increase Funding – through community participation campaign
Exceed district expectations – going beyond what they expect with documented success (measurements)
