BENEFITING: TURNER SYNDROME COLORADO
EVENT DATE: Sep 24, 2017
We started our journey nearly 12 years ago, learning the diagnosis of Turner syndrome, before Taylor was even born in 2005. We have watched Taylor grow from up from her tiny 4 lbs at birth into a bright, strong, beautiful girl. Over that time we have been to countless appointments with various medical providers and specialists. Taylor has tolerated almost daily Growth Hormone shots for 10 years now, as well as she has endured nearly as many hospital procedures and surgeries as her age (11), all while keeping her vibrant spirit alive. We have been fortunate to have access to a great network of medical providers including the multidisciplinary eXtraOrdinary Turner Syndrome clinic at Children’s Hospital where Taylor has had visits over the last 2 yrs. Fundraising efforts this year will allow TS Colorado to continue to provide support to the TS clinic at Children’s Hospital as well as local educational and social for TS girls/women and families. Please join us for the butterfly walk in celebration of Taylor and all the other beautiful butterflies in our community.
