Awareness Can Save Lives

Almost 2 million young people admit to illegally taking anabolic steroids, and another 12 million use unregulated and often harmful dietary supplements to look better in an attempt to help their self esteem and/or to perform better in competition. They're willing to risk sometimes permanent health issues to achieve their goals. Unfortunately, too many parents, coaches and adult influencers aren't aware of the dangers of these substances, nor do they know what to look for or the signs of steroid abuse. It's critical that we reach more people with our message and education programs but we need assistance to both generate awareness of the issue and get our programs in to schools and communities, even if they can't afford it!

This foundation is dedicated to raising awarness about the widespread use of anabolic steroids by the youth of North America.

Hoot’s Chalk Talk is the name of a family of programs that have been created to raise the awareness and provide education on the subject of the use and abuse of appearance and performance enhancing drugs (APEDs) by the youth of North America with a focus on anabolic steroids and supplements. Two programs make up core educational programs of the Taylor Hooton Foundation (THF).

These anabolic steroid and supplements education programs not only provide factual information about the dangers of APEDs and supplements, they also explore the honor and integrity character traits that are too often missing among today’s youth.

Our Hoot's Chalk Talk program was presented to over 175,000 people in 2013.  We need to reach millions though.
