Taylor Scholarship Fund
Organized by: Nathan Stewart
This is Rev. Brent Taylor, the youth pastor, Sunday school director, and men's minister at Guide Pointe Church in Bedford, Indiana. Since his early twenties, Bro. Taylor has been engaged in spreading the Word of God, leading countless souls to Christ.
In 2009, Rev. Taylor lost his job, leaving him without adequate means to support his family of five. But, he never lost hope and never stopped reaching out to a lost world.
Now, Brent Taylor has impacted hundreds with his story and ministry. He works full-time for his church while mowing lawns and doing odd jobs to support his family. He can always be found praying for the sick, working for the church, or showing the love of God to everyone he meets.
Whether you've known him your whole life or only met him once or twice, chances are good that Brent has had a positive, powerful impact on you. And now it's our chance to give back.
Rev. Brent Taylor has two goals for the year of 2014:
1) To baptize 18 people (he just baptized #14).
2) To start earning his Associates Degree from Foothills Bible College, which will help him achieve licensure and eventually lead to pastorship.
The cost for Brent's degree is only $1700; a small amount considering the monumental impact it will have on his life and the lives of his family. However, working odd jobs and putting a child through college doesn't exactly leave one with money to burn, so it's up to the church and the community to stand in the gap.
If you have been impacted at all by Rev. Brent Taylor or his ministry, then we owe it to this wonderful man of God to make sure that his goal of furthering his ministry is met.
He's changed our lives. Now it's time we change his.
