BENEFITING: Center for Youth and Family Solutions
The Tazwell Community Area Project (TCAP) is a program of the Center for Youth and Family Solutions. They are facing closing due to the State of Illinois failure to pass a budget. TCAP provides after school programs, including homework assistance, 4H programs, recreational activities for children and families, a food pantry, several family support and educational programs and many other services to families in a highly under served area. They need $50,000 to continue operating. The Caterpillar Foundation has given them a $20,000 matching grant. This project is trying to raise the $30,000 they need to continue.
