BENEFITING: TACOMA COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOUNDATION
I was a student at TCC in 2007 for a few years and during that time the TCC Foundation had more then a couple times helped me pay my rent or kept my power from being shut off. Their money is getting smaller and smaller due to budget cuts and I think its time we paid it forward and helped them.
When I received help they had some rules like being a currently enrolled student. So if you have ever recieved help from them and wanted to thank you them send a small donation or sign up on this team and help us spread the word and help make it so when other students out there need help they have someone to ask for help.
Founded in 1967 by an all-volunteer group of civic and business leaders, the TCC Foundation secures financial support for the students, staff and community of TCC beyond the limitations of State funding. In 2009-2010 the state of Washington provided only 60% of TCC's operating budget revenue. Donations from donors are extremely important to bridge this gap...donor gifts often make the difference between a student completing their studies or not.
