TRI-CITY EAGLES RAISE FUNDS AND AWARENESS FOR SPECIAL HOCKEY
October 3, 2013
Laurel, MD - The Tri-City Eagles are proud to announce their first annual fundraiser in support of American Special Hockey Association members, the Baltimore Saints and Washington Ice Dogs.
Both the Saints and Ice Dogs offer children and adults with developmental disabilities the opportunity to play ice hockey. A club wide program has been created to help raise money and awareness for these two very worthwhile organizations.
The Tri-City Eagles 2013 ASHA Dash will be held on Nov. 25th at The Symphony of Lights, located at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD. Together with their families, players ages 5 and up will participate in a group 1.4 mile fun run through a holiday-themed light display to benefit local youth players with developmental disabilities.
Founded in 1993, The Tri-City Eagles Hockey Association is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to helping young individuals develop as athletes, leaders, and members of the community.
For 20 years, The Tri-City Eagles have successfully accomplished this through an elite hockey program that stresses excellence, self-sacrifice and places the needs of the player above all else.
Off-line donations may be made in a form of cash, or check made payable to "Tri-City Eagles Hockey Association." Please notate "ASHA DASH" AND the name of the player you are supporting in the memo field.
