EVENT DATE: Apr 25, 2014
More than a decade ago, Elizabeth Kolbe, a TMS student, was paralyzed from the waist down in a car crash during her eighth grade year. She continued her education at Tiffin Columbian High School and graduated in 2006. After Tiffin, Beth went to Harvard University for undergraduate school and then Stanford Law School. While at Harvard, she represented the school’s Women’s Swim Team. In 2008, Beth Kolbe went on to represent our whole nation in the Beijing Paralympic Games. Now, Beth resides in Washington DC and runs a program called SPINALpedia which helps people with paralysis adapt to and live with their condition. The proceeds from this volleyball tournament will all go to Beth Kolbe’s program, helping hundreds if not thousands of people across the U.S. deal with the struggles of paralysis. Please help TC alumnus Beth Kolbe in her mission to improve others’ lives.
