First priority is to accept the offer of donation of the land for project. Land is free but cost of transfer, registration, etc requires 2,400. The first project then is to demonstrate by building an old style monitor barn by cutting, trimming, shaping and erecting the components they will harvest & collect themselves. Following projects will be demonstrations of well digging, erecting basic housing. Demonstration of proper stove use, collecting the materials necessary to build a fireplace, the use of alternative sources of fuel such as building a sawdust stove. Erecting fences. Demonstrate and practice old time food preservation techniques (do you know how to store food for and entire winter?), skim cream to make butter later, and teach other skills not known to most people. The other 20,000 is to comply with the few modern required items. Restrooms (they don't allow outhouses anymore). Electricity. Removal of tree stumps. Concrete bases and grading as required and of course insurance.  Any architects willing to donate plans for the monitor style barn would be greatly appreciated.  The proposed size is 48 x 72.  3 16 foot sections wide.  (County regulations, can't build anything without dotting all the i's. Donations of leftover Home Depot cards (for buying hardware) would also be appreciated as there is one in Mountain Home
