Ovarian Cancer is very difficult to diagnose since there's currently NO SCREENING TEST. The pap test does NOT screen for Ovarian Cancer. Ovarian Cancer is usually caught at a late stage when chances of survival are grim.
®T.E.A.L. is a grassroots 501C3 not for profit organization founded by two sisters from Brooklyn, NY with a passion to draw attention to Ovarian Cancer, which is the leading cause of death among gynecological cancers. Through our annual ® T.E.A.L. Walk/Runs in various locations and other events throughout the year ®T.E.A.L. has raised just over a million dollars benefiting Ovarian Cancer research and awareness programs. T.E.A.L. relys on the support of private contributions in order to continue to achieve it's mission. T.E.A.L. is run out of a home office in Brooklyn with the help of volunteers and interns.

T.E.A.L. has funded research at some of the most prestigious hospitals in the country. T.E.A.L. spreads it's message about signs, symptoms and risk factors in schools, health fairs and community events and also by hosting their own large scale events throughout the year.
