We have formed a team for the O2 Breath walk again this year, the fourth year in a row and hopefully the best yet! This walk raises money and awareness for Pulmonary Hypertension. We hope you can join the team or donate to this great cause. Gregg was diagnosed with this disease back in 2011 after two years of trying to find out what was going on with his health. By 2016 his condition had deteriorated so he couldn't even walk around the block without getting short of breath and having chest pains. We went to a hospital in San Diego called UCSD where he had a new procedure called Balloon Pulmonary Angioplasty (BPA). In total he has had four of these procedures, two in August of 2016 and two in January 2017. Gregg was the 14th person to have this procedure at UCSD and at the time only one other hospital was doing this procedure, which was Mayo Clinic. These procedures were life changing! Gregg is doing stuff he hasn't been able to do for over 8 years. This is the benefit of research, why we will walk, and why we will fundraise. It makes a difference in people's lives - it certainly made a difference in ours!!
