TGP is excited to once again be an official charity partner of the Marine Corps Marathon!
We have 40 slots for this year's marathon, and if previous years' enrollments are any sign of what to expect, they will go fast!
If you are interested in joining Team Grassroots, read the details below and click the 'FUNDRAISE FOR THIS CAMPAIGN' button on the right-hand side of this page (the small gray button under DONATE).
Fundraising Minimum and Deadlines:
The fundraising minimum for each individual runner is $500.
By April 15, we ask that you raise $250. This amount will cover your race registration fee (which we will pay on your behalf), the fees that we pay to MCM in order to be a charity partner, and a TGP running jersey for race day.
By June 1, we ask that you hit the $500 fundraising minimum. These additional funds will contribute to the expansion of TGP's programs in DC. If you are unaware of our work, check us out at www.GrassrootProject.org!
**If you have not met these fundraising goals by the deadlines, your credit card will be charged. You may also contact us to remove you from the team before these deadlines.**
What Else to Expect:
We will be sending resources to all of our runners to help with fundraising and training for the big day. We also plan to host training runs, a pre-race dinner, and opportunities for our runners to visit the programs that they are fundraising for and to meet the people behind our work.
