BENEFITING: The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
My nephew Jeff Quinn was diagnosed with leukemia back in January, and lost his life on August 25th due to complications from his treatment. He was a 22 year-old Junior at Penn State University. Jeff accepted his diagnosis and the painful and difficult treatments it brought with it without complaint, and remained confident that he would endure and successfully overcome them. I was and always will be inspired by the quiet sense of strength, dignity, and optimism Jeff displayed in the face of his adversity, and miss him dearly.
On Saturday, October 22nd, I am joining Team Jeff in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night Walk in Philadelphia in Jeff's honor. I want to do my part to help ensure that others don't have to suffer this dreadful disease and endure the toxic and painful treatments that ultimately killed my nephew. By donating towards my fundraising efforts today, you can help LLS make this goal a reality and bring us closer to a world without cancers! I know Jeff would support that effort.
