Earlier this year, Leah Hafezi was diagnosed with aggressive undifferentiated leukemia (AUL). It is an extremely rare cancer with a grim prognosis and a long, risky recovery. The scariest parts of this are how rapidly this disease is progressing after hitting her so suddenly. Leah is not currently covered by health insurance. We are asking for your help. Funds raised are going towards her astronomical medical bills. Please join us in supporting her, whether that means donating $1 or $100. She needs them right now more than I can express. From Leah's mom: Over the last few month's life has taken me to the edge of a cliff. My baby #3 Leah (who is 23 years old) has been diagnosed with Acute Aggressive Leukemia. Right now we are in a very dark abyss. She is very very sick, worse than that is she is very very scared. Just imagine your child sobbing "Mom please tell me this isn't true," "Mom why is this happening to me," "Mom I don't think I can do this." I would do anything for her, including switching places and having Leukemia so she could be happy and healthy. Unfortunately God has other plans for us. For the first time in her life she is without health insurance - it is pending but not approved yet. Another nightmare. Please pray. Pray for the doctors who are treating her, that their healing hands will be enough. Pray that the treatments will be successful. Most of all please pray for her emotional well being and that she is able to dig deep for inner strength. Pray for her to find some moments of peace.
