The Short Story: (no short jokes about this runner please...)
On Sept 24 I will once again be running the Chicago Half Marathon 5K to benefit Lynn Sage Foundation, and raise funds to support local breast cancer researchers at Northwestern. I did it last year and it was a great experience, and my friends were so generous and supportive. If you can support me this year that would be great. Any and all donations are appreciated.

Funding Innovative Research to Eradicate Breast Cancer: Team Lynn Sage is running the Chicago Half Marathon and fundraising to support The Lynn Sage Scholars program, funding some of the country’s most promising young researchers in the field of breast cancer. The Lynn Sage Foundation believes research is the key to improving medical outcomes for those diagnosed with breast cancer.
A non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization supporting doctors at Northwestern University and Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, The Lynn Sage Foundation focuses its seed funding where it can have the greatest impact. The Lynn Sage Scholars program is dedicated to promising young doctors investigating novel research earlier in their career, when research dollars are the most difficult to source.
Established by sisters, Laura & Halee Sage, after losing their mother, Lynn, to breast cancer at the young age of 39, The Lynn Sage Foundation is committed to discovering the cure for breast cancer.
