Patti Burnett's Fundraiser:

Dear Friends and Family, I was diagnosed with Parkinsons in May 2013. Since that time it's been quite the ride with the assistance of numerous support groups including the Davis Phinney Foundation. You, my friends and family, have come alongside Dan and I in a huge way as we learn how to live a fuller and more joyful life. Thank you for loving us well. We also believe it's our responsibility to teach others about Parkinsons and to assist those who have it (People with Parkinsons Disease, PPD) to understand better what they can do to reduce symptoms and slow the progression. Exercise is one of the answers, and bike riding is a perfect venue for that. If you can ride the Copper Triangle with us we would love it. Just make sure to register soon indicating Team Move That Mountain and to fund raise with us. There's some training to be done to build up to the 78 mile event and we'd love to have you train with us as well as to ride the day of the event. Copper Triangle is really a well run event and over the years they have contributed more than $1,000,000 to the Davis Phinney Foundation, resulting in thousands of changed lives. If you cannot ride with us, please donate. I promise that DPF is a very trustworthy organization and they will invest our money wisely to help the most people possible live better with their challenges.
