John Schoff wrote -Owen was born with a rare condition called primary aphakia. He has no lenses in his eyes and cloudy corneas. The Cleveland Sight Center has been an incredible source of guidance, information, and encouragement for Owen and his entire family. The resources they provide have been essential in ensuring that Owen, and many other children, have the absolute best support available to grow and thrive as they learn to navigate the world. Owen recently turned one and couldn't be doing better. He is active, happy, and adventurous. He will most likely get his own cane in a year or so to help him have even more independence. We hope that you'll help him and this incredible organization by supporting our team for the White Cane Walk with a donation to a wonderful cause. Thank you!
