In 2000 our family was impacted by the Pulmonary Hypertension disease.
Irasema Viramontes Was diagnosed with this disease. She underwent hundreds of tests, tons of different medications to help slow down this disease. She saw many different doctors to help give more insight to what this disease was.
Many people with PH do not survive past 7-8 years...fast forward to 2017, she continued to battle.
She became an inspiration to many people, her family, friends, even doctors at Keck Medical of USC.
New treatment, even talks of transplants to help extend her life. As time passed she became weaker.
June 22, 2017 with her daughters and loved ones by her side she lost her battle with Pulmonary Hypertension.
She fought this battle to the very end. This disease doesn't have a cure YET....but together we can all raise awareness and help find a cure.
Please join us as we walk to help those dealing with this disease, or those families who are dealing with the loss of a loved one like ours.
To walk or simply to make a donation would help out many families.
