EVENT DATE: Sep 11, 2016
You can make a difference in the lives of working women in early recovery from alcoholism. Your support will help the residents of Stepping Stone women's recovery home achieve lasting sobriety.
Founded in 1962, Stepping Stone is the oldest alcohol and drug recovery program for women in Northern California. It provides recovery services in a safe and secure home where women live for 6-18 months. The comprehensive programming is specifically designed for working women.
“When I thought I would never be able to get a job again, Stepping Stone gave me hope and the strength to do so.” – Former Resident.
Residents are required to spend 32 hours per week in work, volunteer, or educational activities. The women at Stepping Stone pay approximately 40% of the fees required to operate the comprehensive programming, three meals a day for 13 women, and maintenance for its 100-year-old Victorian home.
The remaining 60% is provided by the generosity of supporters like you.
Team Stepping Stone will be walking and running in THE GIANT RACE San Francisco to raise money for this important community organization.
Sponsor us by donating today! Thank you in advance for your support.
