Tracy was incredibly generous, caring, and loved life. He passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in February, and he is incredibly missed. He touched so many lives with his smile, laugh, and kind spirit. Tracy's family had asked that in lieu of flowers for his memorial services, donations be made to the Pat Tillman Foundation in Tracy's name. So we set this up to make it easy for people to donate to the Pat Tillman foundation in his name.
Tracy Scott Hagner was an ASU alum and a hardcore Sundevil. He bled maroon and gold. He supported all ASU sports, but particularly loved ASU football, baseball, and hockey. He's had season football tickets for over 20 years, and during all that time he has organized a tailgate for every single home game. If you've entered the stadium through the Packard entrance, you not only walked past his tailgate, it's likely you joined him for a drink or food. Because he invited everyone to join - that was just Tracy's way.
Tracy had registered for Pat's Run, and in his memory and honor a group of his family and friends will walk Pat's Run in Tempe. If you're able to join us, you can sign up for "Team Tracy Hagner." Many of his out-of-town loved ones are registering as remote runners, and joining us from afar. Pat Tillman once led ASU on to the field with a battle cry of "Give 'em hell, Devils!" They won the game. It seems only fitting to end this with "Give 'em hell, Tracy!" Go Devils!
