Support Team Tricia and raise funds for Breast Cancer Research!
August 27, 2016
All funds raised go directly to breast cancer research. If you are not familiar with Tricia, here's a bit of her story:
Tricia was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer on July 8. Hard to believe that was just one week ago! Backing up a little…She first felt a pea-size lump on her breast on June 8. When she went in for her annual mammogram the following week, she realized it was already noticeably growing. At that time, she also learned there was a lump under her armpit. A follow-up mammogram and ultrasound were needed. In regular Tricia fashion, she squeezed in that three-hour appointment the morning of Cody’s graduation party (making it seemingly no big deal to quick have some tests and head home to get ready for the 150+ people coming over to her house later that day!). After a few more appointments, including a biopsy, the diagnosis was made. Stage 3 was given due to the breast tumor size (may be close to two inches) and the fact that there is node involvement (the armpit). The tumor grade is a 3, which is considered aggressive.
