Imagine performing a five-minute long sprint of squats, presses, jumps, rows, and pulls, and then being asked to repeat it not once, but twice, with only a minute of rest in between each round. Add in just a little bit of weight, how about a 20 pound medicine ball and 75 pound barbell, and it becomes a workout that will stop anyone in their tracks.
Gross right? Right. But it's for a good cause! My team, Menace to Swolbriety, will be sweating and putting ourselves into a state of utter agony to raise funds that support the Brooklyn Community Foundation. BCF is an organization that provides grants large and small to groups that feed, clothe, educate, and improve Brooklyn.
If you love Brooklyn like we do, and have the means and are willing to give, please do.
