Rena Sindi Abboud:
I was originally born in Iraq but have spent most of my life in New York and London. My educational background includes an undergraduate degree from Oxford University in PPE (Politics, Philosophy and Economics), a masters from Columbia University in International Affairs, and an Executive MBA from Cambridge University. I started my career doing bespoke events for luxury brands, many of which are chronicled in my book, ‘Be My Guest’, that was published in 2002 by Assouline. I subsequently returned to education to do an MBA and have been since pursuing various entrepreneurial opportunities. I currently reside in London with my husband and my two daughters, and am working with Vault Couture.
About Vault Couture’s involvement:
As a company that was started by and continues to be run by women, we at Vault Couture feel truly connected to the "Women for Women" theme of the Cash & Rocket Tour. If our efforts can translate into assisting the three incredible charity partners to provide opportunities for the next female entrepreneurs and leaders, then that's more than we could ask for!
Tireless entrepreneur, Mounissa gained a degree from the Faculty of Law of Southampton University, and is undertaking a Ph.D. at the faculty of International Law, Moscow State Institute of International Affairs. She is a Head of Investor Relations at a multinational corporation, director of various online ventures, and is a founder of Vault Couture, a business that’s grown out of a personal need for wardrobe management system. Persistent innovator, Mounissa believes that helping young people and children should be one of the main missions of Western societies. She supports a number of charities and Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Ruth Barinstein, together with her good friend Mounissa Chodieva, is the co-founder of Vault Couture. Originally from New York, Ruth was working in her family’s real estate management business and moved to the UK to join her husband. Since then she has established a family in London and has a daughter and son. Ruth graduated from Adelphi University in New York with a degree in Political Science. In her spare time, Ruth supports a number of charities that are dedicated to raising the levels of education and care globally. She was very enthusiastic about the campaign behind Cash & Rocket and is participating in the tour event to support and strengthen the three African charities: Shine On Sierra Leone, OrphanAid and Sumbandila.
