BENEFITING: WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT
EVENT DATE: Sep 09, 2012
The Nation's Triathlon is held yearly in Washington, D.C. and is a great event. Myself, along with my two fellow teammates, will be competing as a relay team in this year's race to be held Sept. 9, 2012. All three members of Team 3 Dudes are combat veterans. We have all been touched by war and seen what it can do to the human body and mind. The Wounded Warrior Project is an organization near and dear to our hearts and this is our opportunity to raise awareness, and hopefully a nice chunk of change, for Wounded Warrior Project!
On race day, September 9, 2012, I will be taking on the swim portion of the event. It will be a 1500 meter (metric mile) swim in the Potomac River. Next up will be the bike portion of the race. My good friend WO1 Anthony Radetic, US Army Ret., will blaze a trail on the bike course that runs for 40 kilometers throughout the Washington DC area. The last leg of the race is a 10 kilometer run that loops around the history, monuments and glory of DC. Another great friend, Captain Dave Hagner, USMC, will be taking on the run (less than 24 hours after completing a 10+ mile ToughMudder Challenge). Pictures of all Team 3 Dudes competitors can be found on this page. Feel free to peruse and get familiar with Team 3 Dudes!
So, make the right decision and get off your wallet! Let's raise some cash and help the Wounded Warrior Project continue enriching the lives of America's Wounded Warriors. Understandably not everyone may be able to donate money. So, if you can't doante any money, no worries. Perhaps you can donate just a little time? Please take the time to forward this site to any and everyone you can.
We truly appreciate all the support. Thank you for helping us spread the word!
