BENEFITING: BROOKLYN COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
EVENT: Fight Gone Bad 2012
EVENT DATE: Oct 20, 2012
I've been sweating it out at Crossfit South Brooklyn for almost three years, and it's about time I get down and dirty and put up a fight for a good cause... FIGHT GONE BAD!
Every year, CFSBK conducts a fundraiser in the form of this ridiculous workout. This year, all donations will be headed towards the Brooklyn Community Foundation. Please join me and support me in giving back to the incredible community and place I've called home for four years now! Even $5 is appreciated and will make a difference.
So, on October 20, here's what I'm in for...
What is Fight Gone Bad?
Three rounds of:
Wall-ball, 20/14lb, 10ft target (Reps)
Sumo deadlift high-pull, 75/55 pounds (Reps)
Box Jump, 20" box (Reps)
Push-press, 75/55 pounds (Reps)
In this workout you move from each of five stations after a minute. The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating. On call of "rotate", the athletes must move to next station immediately for best score. One point is given for each rep, except on the rower where each calorie is one point.
