Leigh Bristow founder and Executive Director of the Sumbandila Scholarship Trust. Sumbandila educates and mentors young African women from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and helps them to realise their potential with the long-term goal of creating leaders and social entrepreneurs who can effect change in Africa.
Samantha is a board member of Tusk Trust. Having gained a PhD at Cambridge University on primate behaviour, Samantha has a special interest in the primate social systems, behavioural ecology and primate conservation. She has travelled extensively in Africa having lived and worked there for 5 years.
Having lived and worked in Africa for many years, I know from personal experience the difference that education can make to people's lives. What a privilege to share that passion with such inspiring team mates and do something challenging at the same time!
