Mick Blosser says: I am honored to have been selected by the ALS Association to run the 2012 Boston Marathon as an official member of Team ALS. I am dedicated to raising money and awareness for this terrible disease in support of Tommy Kirchhoff, his wonderful family, and all those afflicted with this disease.
The Kirchhoff family is your prototypical All-American family. Tommy and Staci Kirchhoff are the proud parents of four wonderful kids; Tom, Sam, Brynley, and Ty. While Tommy is battling ALS, Staci is challenged by her own fight with melanoma. In the face of adversity, they battle these awful diseases with courage and strength. They are an inspiration to us all.
Please help fight ALS today by sponsoring me in the 2012 Boston Marathon. All donations go directly to the ALS Association. DONATE TODAY by clicking the link above.
Thank you so much for supporting this fight.

Team ALSMA is a dedicated group of marathon runners who are raising awareness and vital funds to benefit the cutting-edge research, patient care programs and advocacy of the ALS Assn. MA Chapter. Each team member has a relationship to a patient who has battled or is battling this disease. They run because they can! Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progrssive, fatal, neuromuscular disease the slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2-5 years from the time of diagnosis. Every 90 minutes, some is diagnosed with ALS and every 90 minutes someone will lose their battle with this disease. Please support a member of Team ALSMA!
