Join our herd! This is Team Ambo's second year participating in The Enormous Elephant Run to raise awareness for elephant conservation. In 2016, we raised over $500. Help us go above and beyond in 2018! Please consider making a donation or joining us on March 10, 2018 in Los Angeles for the run!
Donations go to The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (DSWT). This organization is essential for the survival of the African Elephant in Kenya. They provide emergency medical services to injured wild elephants, save orphans whose herds succumbed to poaching, and operate anti-poaching surveillance units. Our team is named after the DSWT orphan we foster, Ambo. He was found alone stuck in the mud at the age of only four months. The DSWT is vital to saving orphans like Ambo who would not be able to survive on their own.
For more information on joining our team, check out The Enormous Elephant Run webpage, or reach out to Andrew Ringwood or Kelly Maurer at any time. Together, we can make a difference!
Team members past and/or present include: Kelly Maurer, Andrew Ringwood, Mandy Stevens, Katherine Ringwood, John Ringwood Jr.
