EVENT DATE Nov 15, 2014

THE STORY:

I am fortunate enough to be able to run long distances and enjoy doing it. Through this crazy passion of mine I am happy to be able to call attention to various social and health needs that unfortunately are to numerous to mention and very destructive. I try to focus on issues that affect or have affected our family and friends as it is close to our hearts. This Fall marathon season I will be running the Marine Corp Marathon, 26.2 miles on October 26th in Washington D.C. and my first 60K (37.2 miles), the NYC 60K which is 9 times around Central Park on November 15th.

This year I would like to raise money and awareness for two charities:

VOICES AGAINST BRAIN CANCER

http://www.voicesagainstbraincancer.org/about-us/message-from-the-founders/

and

MS

http://www.nationalmssociety.org/What-is-MS

Please visit their web sites to learn about the good work these organizations are performing.

ALL the money raised will be divided equally between each charity and sent to VOICES and MS after the NYC 60K race.

Thank you in advance for anything you can contribute and I hope to see you on the race course in Washington D.C., NYC or BOTH!!! :)

Peace & love,

Michael
