In 2013 we joined the Komera Global Run in Rwinkwavu, Rwanda. Galvanized by the experience, we ran in last year's KGR Fun Run in Manhattan. We were joined and supported by family and friends. We met exceptional people who are changing the world. The run was small and informal, but spirited and meaningful. It set the stage for this year’s bigger and more formal 5K Race in Brooklyn on June 14. This year we are excited to work with Berthilde Bayisange, our Rwandan co-captain and partner. She and the other Komera scholars and staff inspire us to help young women RUN THE WORLD. Please help us by joining the run or by supporting our team.
About our co-captain:
