Here we go again. Despite telling many of you that my marathon career is over and I'd never run another one, I once again just couldn't resist. (I honestly think this is how Brett Favre felt coming out of retirement all these times... and there's a good chance my performance will continue to decline as his did as he continually refuse to hang up the cleats.)
So this April, I'll be making the 26.2 mile trek from Hopkinton to Boston that is the Boston Marathon. Similar to prior years, John Hancock gives me the opportunity to run the race without qualifying (which is awesome, because they just made the qualifying standards more difficult this year). The only thing asked of me is to raise $1500 for the Boys and Girls Club of Boston, which is a great cause that I'm really happy to be able to support. (Additional details of the programs they offer and positive results they've accomplished are below.)
Any support you can provide is sincerely appreciated, not only by me but also by the kids you'll be helping out at the Boys & Girls Club.
Thanks so much,
