Last fall, when one of our two elderly wiener dogs passed away, her mate Cooper was inconsolable. Then, we met Maximillian Bonekeeper McQueen (Max) at Pixie Project. His previous owner had Alzheimer's, had tied him up outside, and forgot he existed, who knows how long. Max is 14+ young, likes snot rags, tosses trash for goodies, barks at the washer and garbage truck (only things he hears/feels), cuddles with his new bro, and loves every human being he's ever met. Sadly, every tooth in his mouth was rotten, he had huge bone loss in his jaw, & was in BIG trouble. The astounding team at Pixie did 5-1/2 hours of surgery for him! We want to do anything we can to thank them for their kindness and help them continue their amazing mission. We're aiming for $2000, because they've already saved him twice!
