Hi Friends and Family! Welcome to my donation page!
Alzheimer's disease is the 6th leading cause of death in the United States and is the most common form of dementia or memory loss today. One in three seniors dies with Alzheimer's or another form of dementia. Symptoms usually advance slowly, worsen over time, and become severe enough to prevent normal functioning in daily tasks. Alzheimer's is not a normal part of aging.
This year I have been given the opportunity to help raise awareness and money to tackle this debilitating disease through an organization called BvB Dallas. Over the past 8 years, BvB Dallas has been able to raise over $2.3 Million Dollars (and counting!) for Alzheimer’s research and care in North Texas. This has all been made possible through generous donors like yourself. Through the loving support we’ve received, we have been able to provide our beneficiaries, Baylor Neuroscience Center, UTD’s Center for Brain Health, and UTSW Medical Center with the funds to continue their research for a cure for the disease affecting so many loved ones across the world.
At the end of the summer, we will have our 9th Annual Blondes v. Brunettes Dallas Powder-Puff Football Game at the Cotton Bowl. Every $25 donation gets you a ticket to the game! The game will be in Fair Park on Saturday, August 13th and Kick-Off will be held at 7:30pm. The after-party will be held on the front steps of the stadium immediately following the game. So if you can make it, we would love to have your support from the stands!
Please help me in this fight against Alzheimer’s disease so we can continue the search for the cure.
