This NYC marathon, on November 3, 2013, marks my 3yr anniversary surviving brain tumor. To the day.
And my husband will be there by my side, just like he was those three years ago: first helping me to walk again, then jog and now run a marathon.
When I cross the finish line at the NYC marathon this year, I cross alongside my hero. I'm the luckiest girl in the world and couldn't think of a bigger and better way to celebrate the miracle of our life!
Help me raise money for this excellent cause, close to our hearts and my head!

Team BTF is proud to once again be participating in the ING New York City Marathon on Sunday, November 3, 2013. The Brain Tumor Foundation (BTF) guides and supports patients and families during the turbulent times when their lives are touched by a brain tumor.
Over a million people in the US are living with brain tumors that have not yet been detected.
It is estimated over 14,000 deaths are expected to occur this year due to brain tumors.
Possibly half of all brain tumor patients could have their tumors successfully removed if they were detected early, before physical symptoms become apparent. Early detection and complete removal is the best known method of treating deadly tumor growth.
