EVENT DATE: Jul 18, 2013
Science visualization is an area that I am passionate about. We create illustrations, animations, and multimedia for science and medicine. By communicating new ideas visually, we are promoting education, collaboration, and informed decision making. Our goal is to bring beauty to discovery, and make our audiences excited and curious.
Our charity, the Vesalius Trust, funds scholarships and research grants in medical illustration. Additionally, the Trust sponsors the preservation of important works in our field.
At this year's Association of Medical Illustrators Conference, we will assemble a puzzle during a live auction. Team members can have their name placed on the back of each piece they support. It's $10 to support one piece of the puzzle. For every $50 we raise, we get to place ONE piece of the puzzle in the auction. We've set a goal of $5,000. You are welcome to pledge or join the team and help us reach our goal to assemble the puzzle together!!
