Organized by: Claudia Clough
This fundraiser is to help the family through a very difficult time. At the beginning of August, Claudia noticed something different about her body and went to the doctor. After a mammogram, came a slew of tests. On August 20th came life shattering news. Claudia has been diagnosed with Triple negative stage 4 breast cancer. The doctor is currently discussing palliative chemotherapy. We are hoping and praying for a miracle.
Her and Brian have 3 children, Kenzie is 8. Nick is 10, and Zack is 18.
Since Claudia and Brian have spent much of their lives giving and helping others, they do not have it easy financially.
We are trying to raise money to help the family with medical expenses and to help relieve the financial stress of a serious life threatening illness.
Claudia and Brian have been volunteering in the church for 25 years. Brian has served in Afghanistan, receiving a purple heart. Even though he was losing blood, he turned the medic's away telling them to help others.
Claudia has created and teaches a weekly class at church for children with special needs. Claudia was in the middle of nursing school with the dream of participating in medical missions and research.
So what can we do for a family who has donated so much of their lives and money helping others?
Please place this link on your facebook, ask your friends to donate. If all of us and our friends just gave $10, we could really make a difference.
Be Bold! Ask your friends to give. $10 does not make much of a difference in our monthly budget. But if all of us give and ask our friends to give, that money could really make a difference. If you can afford more, give more. Pray for a miracle! If you belong to a church, put Claudia's family on the prayer request list. And don't forget - keep praying.
Thank you so much for helping us.
p.s. this campaign is being organized by me, Paula. I just had to put Claudia's name so the money could go directly into their bank without going through anyone else's hands. Just so you know all of the money will go directly to Claudia and Brian.
