Ok, so here's what we're looking at. See that goal up there? Yeah, that's not going to meet itself. I'm going to need you to help me make that happen. The Connecticut Children's Medical Center is a big deal; they got a website and everything. And what do they do? They help little kids. That's right. Little kids. This is a guilt trip and you're in it for the long haul.
“So Dan, what does the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center do to help little kids?”
First of all, they start by saving everyone a crapload of time when they tell the kids to just write “CCMC” instead of Connecticut Children’s Medical Center every other sentence. It takes too long. After that, the kind folks at CCMC work their butts off to be the “Doctor’s Office” for nearly 15,000 children. That makes them the largest pediatric primary care center between Boston and New York, and they’re just getting started. They’re also the emergency room, intensive care unit, surgical unit, and neonatal intensive care unit that the people of Connecticut trust to care for their families. Seriously, I have to get running so read more about it on their website (http://www.connecticutchildrens.org/body.cfm?id=13).
"Ok, CCMC rocks I get it. But why should I click on your link? There's a bunch of other people trying to raise money for CCMC, and they're probably better people than you who deserve to have their goal met before yours!"
Fair point. I'm not going to argue with you. But did I tell you about the beard?
That's right, the beard. It’s all over my face, and it's only getting bigger. Girls are afraid of it, my parents hate it, and it just doesn’t’ go well with my khakis when I’m at work. And there's nothing I can do to stop it, not until I meet that goal. So it’s your call cowboy. If you click that link and make a donation, you’ll not only help a hospital that's doing great work for some great little dudes, but you’ll help me shave face (see what I did there?). How’s that for a guilt trip?
“Dude, you’re weird. How can I donate so I can get you to leave me alone?”
I thought you would never ask! There’s a donate button on the top right corner of the screen. Just hit that little guy up with a click and give what you can. CCMC and I appreciate everything you can give, even just a dollar. Thanks for everything, and be sure to check out the stuff below from the CCMC team!
