BENEFITING: Old St Patricks Church
ORGANIZER: Old St Patricks Church
I'm excited to be running the Chicago Marathon for the second time, but I'm even more excited to be running it with Old St. Pat's parish this year. I recently joined the parish and after a little "runners high" I decided to join their marathon team! I am so glad I decided to run with OSP this year because it has joined two of my greatest loves-- running and faith! I have had the opportunity to meet so many new people through the group runs each Saturday morning and they have all inspired more than I could have imagined.
Part of what drew me to Old St. Pat's was their amazing outreach programs. There is always a chance to volunteer and I'm excited to get involved in the next few months. Part of running the marathon with Old St. Pat's is raising money for all their ministries.
The team (Crossroads) raises funds for non-profits to assist Chicago's at-risk youth, homeless and unemployed with targeted programs, resources and service initiatives. Organizations include Harmony Hope and Healing, Horizons for Youth and Career Transitions Center.

I appreciate any donation you can give! :)
