THE STORY:

Support a Sister-in-Training.

Hi. I'm Alison, a Sister in formation with the Congregation of St. Joseph.  The Chicago Marathon in October will be my first marathon. I am running to raise funds to assist Chicago's youth, homeless, and unemployed with targeted programs, resources, and services with and through my team, Team Crossroads, of Old St. Patrick's Church in Chicago.

Organizations supported through all the donations go to Harmony Hope and Healing (http://www.harmonyhopeandhealing.org/ ), Global Alliance for Africa, Horizons for Youth (http://horizons-for-youth.org/ ), and Career Transitions Center.

Will you join me?

The Chicago Marathon is 26.2 miles.  A donation of any amount helps us meet our fundraising goals and keep changing peoples' lives through the services provided by the non-profits we support.  You're invited to sponsor a mile or half of a mile ($50 a mile or $25 for half a mile) and for every mile I run, I will dedicate it to you and the prayer requests you share with me.

Thank you for reading and visiting this site.

I deeply appreciate your generous support.
