BENEFITING: CURE IT FOUNDATION

This is my cousin Nicholas who was diagnosed with Leukemia at age 2. He battled Leukemia for 3 years until he was finally cured. My best friend's cousin was also diagnosed with Leukemia at age 2. His name is Max and tragically he is no longer with us because of the disease.
I will be running the 2013 Chicao Marathon in honor of these two boys. I have joined the Cure It Foundation's team this year to help raise money for their dual mission; to help fund national pediatric cancer research and to lessen the impact of the illness by providing support and care for children in our communities.
The co-founder, Dr. Jason Canner, is currently a pediatric hematologist/oncologist that I work along side with at Central Dupage Hospital.
Please make a donation in support of my efforts with Cure It to help face it, fight it, and cure pediatric cancers.

The Cure It Foundation is a nonprofit organization fighting to cure pediatric cancer and providing personalized support for children diagnosed with this terrible illness. Founded in 2011, the Cure It Foundation is a grassroots organization built upon the compassion, hard work and dedication of patients, survivors, parents, physicians, nurses and community members. While encouraging advances have been made in the treatment of pediatric cancer, the Cure It Foundation will continue to fight on behalf of children and families until the day when all children diagnosed with cancer can be cured.
It is the dual mission of the Cure It Foundation to fund national pediatric cancer research and to lessen the impact of the illness by providing support and care for children in our communities. A portion of all funds raised goes directly to pediatric cancer research, helping the scientists dedicated to curing this life-threatening illness. Locally, the Cure It Foundation supports the communities that sustain the mission by directly giving back to neighboring fighters and survivors of childhood cancer with physical, psychosocial and academic support.
The struggles faced by children diagnosed with cancer are unimaginable. The Cure It Foundation is dedicated to helping patients and families during this hard time and aims to ensure that all survivors can achieve excellence both personally and academically. No child deserves this fate, which is why the Cure It Foundation is committed to winning the fight against pediatric cancer and ensuring that all of our kids can continue to play, thrive and live their lives to the fullest.
