To my friends, family, and everyone else that found my Crowdrise page -
On August 11th, I am taking the next step in my triathlon adventure: the first ever NYC Ironman. Somewhat surprisingly (both to me, and to others), swimming 2.4 miles, biking 112 miles, and then running 26.2 miles in the middle of August seemed like a good idea when I first signed up. And it does now too.
It has been a long journey getting here and I am incredibly excited that the Ironman is now only weeks away. I am also excited to once again be fundraising for Robin Hood. By now many of you have been kind enough to donate in the past to my Robin Hood campaigns, and hopefully you'll do so again.
I have started my campaign with a personal $1,250 donation and set a $15,000 goal. Every single dollar and cent that you donate goes straight to Robin Hood's programs. If you live in NYC then you are likely familiar with Robin Hood's poverty fighting mission. If you happen to live outside NYC, then please see below to learn more about their mission and cause:
I look forward to seeing any and all of you out there on Saturday, August 11th. And if you like to sleep in, no worries - there's plenty of time in the morning, afternoon, and evening to catch me.

The Robin Hood Endurance Team is a small group of elite athletes dedicated to fundraising for Robin Hood by competing at world-class endurance events. We combine our passion for endurance sports with our desire to give back by helping Robin Hood target poverty in New York City. 100 percent of every dollar we raise goes directly to programs helping poor New Yorkers.
