BENEFITING: ST PETER-ST JOSEPH CHILDRENS HOME
EVENT DATE: Jun 14, 2015
Everett and Brian are proud to be part of the League of Heroes because of all the good they can do for the children of St. PJ’s. If Everett could have a superpower, he would use the Jedi Force to “help all the kids find houses with moms and dads and big families like mine.” His father agrees, “It is a great opportunity to become involved and supportive of an institution of San Antonio that truly makes a life altering impact in the lives of the children they serve.” Brian believes being a hero means being a positive role model. “We learn a tremendous amount from the role models in our lives. Without the role model, a young boy or man can become lost on the path of life.” His greatest hero and role model is his own father, who was always active and supportive in his life, standing as a pillar of self-confidence, understanding, and hard work. Brian, in turn, is very active in his sons lives, serving as Boy Scout Den Leader and sharing in fun activities together like hunting, fishing, playing football and baseball, building legos, and collecting rocks.
