BENEFITING: Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary
ORGANIZER: Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary
EVENT: 2013 Boston Marathon
EVENT DATE: Apr 15, 2013
I am now training to run the Boston Marathon this April for my fifth year as a member of Team Eye and Ear, Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary's marathon team. Thanks to your generosity, since 2009, I have raised more than $50,000 for neuro-ophthalmology research at Mass. Eye and Ear, which gives me hope that I will one day be able to see again. This year I hope to raise more than $15,000. Please consider supporting me once again in this endeavor.
I know that Mass. Eye and Ear is the place for me to raise funds for, as the research being done there that I hope will benefit me, and many others who have either lost their sight or will due to accidents like mine or degenerate diseases. With your help we will continue this research.
I really enjoyed the camaraderie among the members of Team Eye and Ear and meeting the other team members to hear their stories and reason for running.
Thank you for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too! I Look forward to seeing you again along the way in April.

At Mass. Eye and Ear, our focus is your quality of life. We treat everything that has to do with the eyes, ears, nose, throat, head and neck - so that you and those you care about can get more out of the world around us.
Our physicians are more than just specialists; each is also a researcher and a teacher. These doctors don't just apply the latest advances in medicine; they invent them. Together with Mass. Eye and Ear scientists, they work tirelessly to understand the root causes of diseases that both take people's lives and rob too many others of their quality of life.
Every dollar raised makes it possible for Mass. Eye and Ear to excel in clinical care, research and medical education. That, in turn, allows us to provide the finest specialty care to every person who comes through our door and to share our knowledge in order to help patients around the world.
Thank you for your support.
