ORGANIZER: Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary
EVENT: 2016 Boston Marathon
EVENT DATE: Apr 18, 2016
I am running again in 2016 for The Compassionate Care Fund of The Glaucoma Service at Mass Eye and Ear Infirmary.
This gives me a forum to raise awareness about patients not being able to afford their medicines which may help them maintain their vision and give them support in not having to worry about the financial burden it puts on them.
Health care has changed and along with it patients are forced to make decisions about what they can or can't afford.
I live this battle every day and am very happy to make a small contribution to patients lives.
