BENEFITING: Food Allergy Research & Education
EVENT DATE: Nov 06, 2011
Every three minutes, someone in America—your friend, your child’s classmate, your co-worker—is raced to the emergency room because of food allergies. There is no cure, and the only way to prevent a potentially life-threatening reaction is strict avoidance of problem foods. But you can change all that--by joining our race to find a cure!
Founded in 1998 by concerned parents and grandparents, the Food Allergy Initiative (FAI) is the world's largest private source of funding for food allergy research. We've committed more than $75 million toward our mission. FAI supports research worldwide, clinical programs that improve diagnosis and treatment, public policy that increases federal funding for research, and programs that educate and raise awareness.
No one should live in fear that every bite they take could put their life in danger. Support Team FAI—help us find a cure for the 12 million kids, teens and adults who are living with food allergies!
