FUNDRAISER SET UP DEADLINE: Jun 07, 2017
Team 4 Hope is a non profit group that raisie funds and awareness for Neuroblastoma, a deadly form of childhood cancer. It was started in 2010 to celebrate the 10th year that Jordan Hopkins survived this disease and remained in remission.
Neuroblastoma affects 70 children annually in Canada and 700 in the USA, of these most children are under the age of 5 and most are diagnosed at Stage 4. At the time of Jordan's diagnosis he was given a 20% chance of survival and very little research was being done at the time. So far, Team 4 Hope has raised $350 000 for research and financial help for families with NB.
Jordan will be turning 18 and graduating from High School in 2017. He spent many years as a competitive swimmer and loves Mountain Biking. In 2015, Jordan won his age group at XTERRA Victoria and traveled to Maui in October to compete in the XTERRA World Championships and finished 12th in his age group with a time of 3:34:34 and just missed winning the swim prime by 20seconds. He also competed in LavaMan on the Big Island where he was second in his age group with a time of 2:14:47!
We hoped that our story moved you and you would like to help other families fight and survive this deadly disease and be like XTERRA #LiveMore
