My name is Pinkie, I was diagnosed with Lupus (SLE) and possibly kidney failure in 2006. Immediately I thought my life was over...My mind began to race...what will happen to my kids, my husband, my family. Fear took over completely. Of course it took a while for me to accept the diagnose, but I had two choices...allow this disease to take me out....or lace of my boots an fight!! The day I decided to fight my favorite scripture has help me along my journey. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding, In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 I would like to thank you in advance for your support, prayers, an donations.
When my doctor explained that I had a disease called Lupus. He provided pamphlets and other types of literature and a referral to a rheumatologist. I know that God has a purpose for me because I âm still here. He wants us all to love and take care of ourselves. learning to eat healthy and live right. Sometimes we may cheat a little by eating unhealthy and not exercising, but we have to get back on the right track to maintain a healthy us. There is no current cure for Lupus, but there are treatments and studies that are being conducted.
