Achieving one of your personal athletic goals could help give thousands of girls a healthy start in life. Help support the Girls in the Game's Charity Race Team!
Girls in the Game believes all girls deserve access to sports and fitness, health education, and leadership and self-esteem programs that encourage the development of lifelong healthy habits.
This year schools face steep budget cuts that leave no funding for the after school programs that kids so desperately need. Girls in the Game is committed to making sure these cuts don’t affect our service to girls. Girls in the Game served 3,000 girls last year and many more girls and schools are on waiting lists for programs. Obesity rates continue to rise as access to nutrition education and physical fitness activities falls. Girls deserve a safe place to play and learn.
Reaching your race goal symbolizes many of the important life lessons girls learn through our programming: fitness, mental and physical endurance, smart eating, peer-education, leadership and more! Enhance your training and race experience by becoming a part of or supporting a motivated and inspirational team, Girls in the Game's Charity Race Team 2012!
