We have the best marathon team out there- not only are they wicked fast and good looking- they're saving lives with every step!  And we are honored that they are running for Grassroot Soccer.

Grassroot Soccer (GRS) has reached over 400,000 youth with HIV prevention and life skills education, trained 2,500 Skillz coaches, and reached millions more through outreach.  However, there is much more work to be done; each day more than 7,000 people die of AIDS, with more than half of new infections occurring amongst young people.  

At Grassroot Soccer, we see a world mobilized through soccer to create an AIDS-free generation. Our mission is to educate, inspire and mobilize youth to stop the spread of HIV. By 2014, our goal is to reach 1 million youth with life-saving education. You can help us get there!

To achieve our mission, we continuously improve our innovative HIV prevention and life-skills curriculum, share our program and concept effectively, and utilize the popularity of soccer to increase our impact.  Each dollar is put to use in reaching the most at-risk youth in Africa with the best possible prevention education.
