BENEFITING: The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp
ORGANIZER: The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp
EVENT: HITW Boston 2015 EVENT
EVENT DATE: Apr 20, 2015
I will be joining Team Hole in the Wall for the 119th Boston Marathon and help provide the joy and magic of Camp to more than 30,000 children and families coping with serious illness throughout the northeast!
I had the honor an priveledge of running the 2014 Boston Marathon for Team Collier Strong. I trained hard and I finished that race with the best partner a girl could ask for. After finishing last years marathon, there was never a doubt that I wanted to do it again.
In March 2014, I was asked to join the Board of Directors on the Joseph Middlemiss Big Heart Foundation (JMBHF) and I was asked to committ myself to expand "The Joseph Middlemiss All You Need is Love Mission," fostering the spread and documentation of Random Acts of Kindness on local, national and international fronts, to educate children on the power of kindness by supporting the efforts of schools and camps alike, and to contribute to research for and spread awareness of childhood illnesses. I believe that Joseph and his mission have brought me to The Hole in the Wall Gang.
In order to participate in this years marathon I was asked to raise $7500.00 for this wonderful camp. It happens to be the cost of sending three children to Camp for a one-week summer session.
Along with my "Hole in the Wall Gang" Team, I will be joined by Scott Middlemiss, dad of Joseph and Jack, and in conjunction with the JMBHF we will be raising funds together.
Please consider helping me to bring joy to 3 children this summer!
Thank you for your continued support in my Marathon adventures!
